Why is Craigslist So Simple?
A lot of users always ask why Craigslist is so simplistic & not user friendly; funny, because Craigslist has made a point of being simplistic TO BE more user friendly.
The idea of keeping the simple design works for Craigslist. Anyone can search their city with ease, whether it is a college student, professionals, or even your 85 year old grandmother!
The simple design is ugly, but simple to use, loads fast, and that creates a positive experience for the user.
The problem starts when you want to explore Craigslist everywhere beyond one specific city or town. You can’t!

However, unlike allofcraigs, Craigslist still makes its users search town by town, city by city, on subdomains for each city.

Craigslist doesn’t have many options for searching the site on Google, and there’s no built-in way to search all Craigslist sites and subdomains at once — you’re limited to your selected location. You can use the search bar on this page to search all of Craigslist at once.
Is Craigslist Nationwide?
Yes. To do this, go to Settings > Search Settings. From there, you can scroll down to Select Region. Choose a different country and click Save. This will allow you to conduct nationwide Craiglsist searches for a different country.
