If you are looking for an alternative website to Craigslist for selling your old tools or offering other construction related services, check out DiggersList.
It is a newer start-up website, so the traffic they receive is nowhere near the amount of traffic Craigslist generates.
However, you can post as many ads as you want (posting too many ads on Craigslist can get your ads flagged and deleted, so follow craigslist etiquette) and you can offer other services.
You can cross-post your ad to different cities, too (something Craigslist doesn’t allow).
Bonus: I have posted many items on Diggers List and I have never received a spam email message!

Also, if you are looking for work, Diggers List may be a great resource to find a construction or contracting type of job in your area. (Or find a job on Craigslist).
So, check it out and get a feel for the site. It is a newer website, so don’t expect your phone to ring off the hook or find 100 emails asking about the item you are selling.
But if you are having a hard time selling that air compressor or your old forklift using Craigslist, it might be a good idea to give Diggers List a shot since they market to that specific demographic.

Hey, if you’re seriously thinking of selling a site, first just make sure you’re asking the right amount of money or that the site is indeed ready for sale… and for this, first do a search on to get an estimated value for the domain, so you’ll have an idea of what to expect for it.
