If you post items for sale on Craigslist, it might be worthwhile to add those same ads on eBay Classifieds (formerly Kijiji), too. Both websites are free to use. And, if you already have pictures and a good description for your Craigslist ad, it is very easy to just copy & paste the text in your CL title and description into the eBay Classifieds ad. Then upload the same photos that you used in your CL ad.
The site is clean and very easy to use. All you need to do is sign up for a free account, find your city and the correct categories for the items you want to sell and start posting. They even keep track of the views you get for each of your ads so you can see which listings are more popular.
The biggest downside, however, is that it doesn’t get nearly the amount of traffic that Craigslist gets so it is much harder to sell something. I have only sold a couple of things with the site. However, there are tools (AKA, buttons) that make it easy to share on social media websites like Twitter and Facebook. If you have a strong social following, you can easily generate traffic to your ads and hopefully make a quicker sale by giving your eBay ad more exposure.
