Find Free Things on Craigslist

Everyone knows that Craigslist is a great place to find cheap things for sale in your area. If you are looking to buy used items to save some cash and you want to find the best deal possible and don’t want to wait around for something to be shipped from eBay or Amazon, check out the products listed in your local area.

However, if you want to find the best deals possible and save the most money, check out the free items posted on CL to see if there is something you could use. craigslist free thingsObviously, if someone is giving something away for free, it might have some flaws or might not be complete. However, you can find some great, useful items like used bookcases, mini refrigerators, sofas, desks and other furniture that people are giving away.

A lot of the stuff listed in the free sections are items that people are looking to get rid of quickly because they are moving and don’t want to deal with haggling over prices and dealing with annoying buyers. They put it up for the first person that can come pick up the item.

With that in mind, don’t expect a person giving away a couch to hold it for 3 days for you to arrange a time for pick up. Whoever can travel to their location first to pick it up will be the person that gets it. Also, don’t expect them to deliver the item to you. So if you see something that you really want, make sure you are ready to pick it up ASAP. Contact the person giving away the item and let them know you can come pick it up within the hour.

There aren’t just larger pieces of furniture in the free sections, either. A lot of people give away old baby clothes, firewood, moving boxes and much more. I have seen people trying to give away a bottle of wine in exchange for a pack of cigarettes. The thing about Craigslist is that you never know what will show up next. That is part of the excitement and thrill people get out of using the site. You never know what will be posted next and you never know what kind of deal you can find.
